In particular, their dive boat is amazing. Each diver has their own space and area to keep their belongings. Their staff are friendly, experts in their field and made us feel at ease the entire time. The guides are made sure we all felt safe, comfortable and got to experience amazing sites! You could tell they loved their job, some were even there on their day off! The boat is set up nice because everyone has their own bench with their own entry point into the water. Our dive group was so small it made it feel like we were on our own private tour and we really got to cater the experience. We had strong currents during our time and they still made sure that we got to see so many amazing places while being safe. Our dive gear was all set up when we got on the boat and they sanitized and dropped off our gear at the hotel the next morning when our trip was done. On top of that, on land they helped drive us to some of our other experiences we had on the island. Anything you need, they are there to make sure you are taken care of. I can’t recomend them enough.A big thank you to the Palau Dive Adventures team for our three dives on July 31st; we are still beginners, and our captain and dive instructor were incredibly patient and attentive. We dived in the Ulong Channel area, and it was magnificent.We recently undertook 15 dives in Palau with PDA and honestly we could not be more positive about our experience. From the initial engagement and booking process through to hotel collections and most importantly the boat and dives. The team were all over it. Focusing on the boat and dive action, Marco (DM) was knowledgeable, fun and just a really good guy to chat with. He was receptive to our requests (big stuff please!) yet applied his local knowledge of conditions and currents to ensure that we got the best experience we could each day and each dive. Hot tea first SLI, lunch second (which was actually good and came via a local restaurant to PDA) and a swift return to town. Ultimately, I feel we made a great decision to dive with PDA and the individual service that they provide - they listen and are receptive allowing us to have input into dive site selection. Great team... great people... great diving memories!!!We had a fantastic experience with Palau Dive Adventures. We had three days of diving with Marcos and saw an incredible array of marine life and dive sites. The whole PDA team were friendly, helpful and flexible to support our arrangements. The boats are super spacious and lunches were delicious. Highly recommended!We booked 2 days of diving with PDA (Iro Maru wreck and Ulong Island on day 1, then Ngerchong Wall, Ngerchong North coral garden, and Chandelier Cave on day 2), and honestly, this was one of the best diving experiences of our lives — despite some pretty mixed weather conditions during our stay. We were the only divers on the boat both days, just the two of us with the dive master and captain — a completely private experience that made a huge difference. It felt less like a tour and more like being taken out by friends who happen to know every inch of these reefs. What really stood out was how the team handled the conditions: they thoughtfully adjusted our site selection based on sea conditions to avoid rough surface chop and swell, making sure we weren't getting tossed around or feeling seasick between dives. That kind of judgment call — prioritizing our comfort and safety over just sticking to a fixed plan — says a lot about their experience and professionalism. Iro Maru was a fascinating start, full of history, and Ulong Channel delivered exactly the "roller coaster" drift everyone talks about — turtles, reef sharks, incredible coral on the exit. Day 2's Ngerchong Wall and coral garden were a beautiful contrast, calmer and just as rich in marine life. But the real highlight was how they ended our trip at Chandelier Cave. On the way back out, our guide had us turn off all our dive lights and swim out using only the ambient light filtering in from the surface — it was absolutely magical, one of those quiet, otherworldly moments you don't forget. A small touch, but it showed real care and creativity from the guide. The boat was comfortable, gear was cleaned and dried for us after every dive, and with just the two of us on board, we got constant personal attention throughout. If you're hesitating because of forecasted weather, don't be — this team knows how to read Palau's waters and will genuinely take care of you. Can't recommend them enough. Their service was 10/10. We booked a dive package with accomodation at the Palau Central Hotel, and everything was so seamless. Our guides, particularly Markus and William were awesome. They really personalised their guiding to our style of diving, nice and slow. And Jan and Grace put so much effort in behind the scenes to make sure we had an epic trip. And the diving itself was incredible. We saw a tiger shark, mantas, lots of reef sharks and big schools of fish everywhere. Even a wee whaleshark on our last day, so so special. I could not recommend these guys more.Palau Diving Adventures were highly organised and professional in every aspect of their business. The meet and greet from Jan at the airport, pickups, drop offs, help getting to a medical clinic for a minor matter one day, were all 5 star. The boat is well settup for diving and not as squeezed in as some other operators. The dive guides are professional, they know the diving business and dive sites. Would certainly recommend them for your Palau dive trip.I joined a 5-day diving trip with Palau Dive Adventures and they were absolutely incredible. From the very beginning, their pre-arrival assistance was top-notch, and that high level of care didn’t stop until the trip was over. A massive shoutout to Jan, who was my go-to man for absolutely everything and made sure the whole trip ran smoothly. The rest of the dive team (Chris, William, Jay, Jayvan, and Marcus - I may be missing some) were also fantastic. The guest-to-guide dive ratios were amazing, which made the experience feel super safe, personalized, and never crowded. The weather actually wasn't on our side during my visit, but the team handled it perfectly and the dives were still fantastic. You can tell they really know what they're doing. On top of that, the boat, equipment, and gears were all in great order, and the lunches they provided every day were excellent. They picked me up from the airport and left me with a mesh gear bag, which I put my gear in and they picked up the next day. It all showed up on the boat ready to go! Between each dive they switched our tanks out for us. At the end of the day, they broke down the gear and cleaned it meticulously, stored it/dried it for the next day, and set it up again! They delivered the gear as clean and dry as they could get it on the day of departure. What more could you ask for? Jan and Gem were so helpful on land, and every divemaster/captain was excellent. They took such great care of you underwater, you never felt like you were neglected. They were so kind to the elderly folks on the boat as well, taking special care and helping them in the strong current to hook in, etc. They knew how to avoid the crowds of boats so it always felt like we were the only divers in the water. 100% would go with them again and would recommend Palau Dive Adventures to anyone who wants a safe, relaxing, enjoyable Palau dive vacation!Great team + Services. They are an order of magnitude better than the others. Smaller, flexible, helpful, and the same folks are there year after year -- which in itselfs speaks highly of the owner and organization.Couldn’t recommend PDA more - my guide Chris was incredible and knew exactly the best spots for us to be in to see all the action. The equipment was excellent, groups were small and with divers of similar ability, food was delicious and it was such a professional service. 10/10!!Absolutely wonderful dive adventure with Palau Dive Adventures! The booking process was simple and efficient, and for me included booking my hotel for three days before and two days after a liveaboard I went on. Jon was amazing at organising everything on the ground from collecting us at the airport, transporting us to and from the boat each day as well as ensuring all my kit was washed and dried and returned to my hotel in plenty of time for me to pack for my flight. The diving was great and we never repeated a dive site in the four dives of diving I did with them. The guides William and Chris, and captain Ben were great at ensuring we were comfortable and happy. Lunch was a bento box which was delicious and you get to choose which one you want the next day out of a huge selection. For me it was the eye for detail that impressed me, including providing us with own own water bottle for us to take away as a souvenir and ensuring there were jackets on board in our sizes in case of rain. I would highly recommend Palau Dive Adventures!! They were great.They are perfectly organised. The communication and booking process was great. Whenever I had a problem or a question I could ask Jan for help. The crew on the dive boat was very friendly, Christian is a great dive master. The briefing before the dive was informative and they prepared the equipment perfectly. The boat itself was very comfy and spacious. It was great to dive with you! They took care of all our equipment set-up, switching tanks between dives, providing jackets on the one day it poured with rain. When we come back we will certainly be diving with them again.I did two days of Scuba Diving with Palau Dive Adventures in February 2026. My experience was very positive. I had some general questions and specific questions about gear rental, which the US based staff answered for me via text. The “behind the scenes“ guy John meet me at my hotel the day before I went diving to bring me a gear bag and sign all the papers. He picked me up promptly every day at 7:40 and took me to the boat. Our Dive guides Chris and William were friendly and professional. They, and the captain, helped us with our gear and patiently waited for me to get up the ladder at the end of each dive. The bento box lunch every day was very good.I had an amazing experience with Palau Dive Adventures. I took the Padi Open Water course for 3 days with Chris, he was friendly, knowledgeable and a great instructor. We then spent 2 days out on the water and it was incredible! The rest of the staff were really friendly including the drivers Jan and Oscar. Will definitely recommend to friends and will come back if I am lucky enough to visit Palau again.Been a pleasure working with Grace and Team. She was patient, responsive and very helpfulPerfect experience! I booked relatively spontaneously and the dives were wonderful. Every day, the dive guide chose the best dive sites depending on the conditions and kept us away from the large, crowded dive boats. In one day, we did German Channel, Blue Corner, and Blue Holes—it was just great. Even when I spontaneously decided to extend my trip by a day on the last day, they made everything possible so that I could dive for another day. The boat is never overcrowded thanks to the maximum group size of 10 divers, and you can choose your lunch each day, which is also very tasty. In between, we also stopped once between the Rock Islands to eat and take a short break. Thanks to the whole team, I would come back anytime!We did 2 days of diving with Palau Dive Adventures in Jan 2026. I highly recommend them - we had a group of beginner divers and one advanced diver , and we were really well looked after by our dive master Che and instructor Chris - we were able to do some really amazing dives and felt comfortable and safe the whole time . We also had a “concierge” on land during our trip ( Jan ) who organised a hire car and other activities on the island for our non diving days, and he was easy to contact and really helpful . The dive boat is comfortable , food was great , and hire gear was in good condition .Fantastic diving experience in Koror! The operation of this diving shop is very well-organized, offering daily hotel transfers and airport pickup. A huge thanks to Chris, a professional and safety-conscious dive master whose knowledge made every dive special. The gear is in okay condition, and the 'Valet Diving' service is excellent—they handle all the changing of tanks in addition to cleaning and storage for you. Groups are small (max 10 people with 2 guides), which makes them feel personal. We saw grey reef sharks, whitetips, and several mantas. Truly an exceptional dive center that I highly recommend!PDA is extremely well organized. They are where they say they are going to be when they say they are going to be there. The front-facing, padded benchseat boat, with personal dry storage underneath your bench and your three tanks in front of you is the bomb! No bumping elbows or misplacing your gear when getting ready or breaking down. PDA provides freshly laundered raincoats and towels daily. Everyone from the office, to the drivers, to the boatmen, and the guides are a delight to work with! The diving in Palau is extraordinary! We saw things we'd only seen once (zebra shark and African Pompano) in decades of diving and we saw things we've never seen before (ornate eagle rays, various wrasse and flashers). If you can afford Palau, which is mind-bogglingly expensive, we highly recommend diving with PDA.Family! This is my 6th time diving with PDA over the past 10 years and I keep coming back because they treat me like family. The diving is world-class and the amenities are top-notch, but you are family when you dive with PDA and that's what keeps me coming back. Can't wait for my next trip with you.Professional dive shop in Palau - they do their best to cater to the guests' preference of dive sites (conditions permitting, of course). Guides and crew are friendly and helpful. They also pay attention to small details (e.g., rinsing your gear thoroughly and drying them...).Palau Dive Adventures was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They’re excellent at picking dive sites, never overcrowded, with currents that felt well-managed and appropriate for the group. The dives themselves were a solid 10/10. The gear quality is excellent — well-maintained, clean, and reliable. What really stood out was how hands-off the experience is: after your last dive of the day, you just leave your gear on the boat and they take care of rinsing everything. The next morning you show up and all your gear is ready and waiting for you. Such a small thing, but it makes a huge difference. We tried two different boats. Both were comfortable, but the first one we tried — with individual diver stations — was significantly better and made the whole experience even smoother. The other was nice too, but not as nice as the first one 😆 The bento box lunch deserves a special mention: honestly yummy AF. After two dives it was exactly what you want, filling, fresh, and satisfying. I also really appreciated the 8am start time. It’s early enough to make the most of the day but not brutally early. I’ve done other dive trips where you’re in the water at 6:30am and I personally hated that, this schedule was perfect. Three dives a day, spaced out beautifully, never rushed. The crew is outstanding: • Chris — huge kudos for helping me get my Nitrox certification. The process was smooth, easy, and genuinely insightful. • William — incredibly kind for lending me his dive computer for a day when mine decided to stop working. • John — absolute legend. From airport pickup to drop-off, always on time, friendly, responsive, and just a really lovely person. Even small details were thoughtful: when it rained, they provided super comfy blue rain jackets. Honestly, too bad they don’t sell merch because I would 100% have bought one! great design and insanely comfortable. Couldn’t recommend Palau Dive Adventures more. Everything was arranged very professionally, from the pick up to the diving to the meals. All of the staff were very friendly. They had a good sense of picking dive sites too, we would often be the only people at a dive site when we showed up, and as we left there would be many boats, or we would show up as the other boats were leaving, so we didn't feel crowded at the different sites. In over 30 years of diving, PDA is one of the best operators we have ever used and we feel really lucky to have discovered them. With small groups, incredible guides/captains and shore crew (shout out to Christian, Frank, Marcus, Jacob, Alan, John and Grace), they go where the corner action is every day (sharks, schooling jacks/barracudas and mantas) and made Palau a trip of our lifetime.I dove with PDA for five days and they were fantastic. The guides - shout out to Christiana and William! - were great. The shop had great equipment and the bento box lunches were better than most dive boat lunches. And of course the underwater beauty of Palau is hard to match. I will absolutely go back and my first call will be Palau Dive Adventures!We had a great week of diving with these guys, I give them the highest recommendation! We took most of our own gear so we only needed tanks from PDA but all the rental gear we saw was modern, clean and in good repair. Importantly for us, all tank valves are modern convertible type suitable for DIN regulators so we had no problems with that issue and air fills were consistently up to the mark (this shows a shop that does not rush fills and indicates a measured, well organised approach to the details). When PDA says they deliver a full service, they mean it: after giving us a large mesh gear bag for us to bring gear to the boat on the first day, that was the last time we had to handle gear until it was time to go to the airport. Their gear handling was impressive: we left our gear on the boat all week for them to rinse and set up for each diving day and even though we switched boats twice, all our gear was consistently kept together with nothing missing or damaged. After our last day the gear was brought to our hotel clean, dry and intact ready for packing. As I say, impressive and the kind of service some of the well known operators have forgotten is possible. On the boats, we were given high quality rain jackets for the inevitable squalls and towels to dry off between dives so no-one ever needed to be cold or uncomfortable. Dive site choice was limited by weather but we got to visit the headline dive sites with our crew sneaking us in mostly ahead of the crowds. PDA leaves the dock earlier then most and usually managed to get to the first site ahead of the crowd. Diver numbers are limited on each boat so there was never a cattle boat feeling and the guides avoid being bossy or controlling (appreciated by this diver with thirty years of diving experience). This is a great dive organisation and I can give them my full endorsement without reservation.It was a pleasure diving with PDA. They were highly professional, I always felt safe and they showed high flexibility in choosing the dive sites.Two friends and I had six days of truly incredible diving with Marcus, William and Chris from the PDA team. The combination of Palau's natural wonders and such a competent and caring team resulted in the best week of diving we've ever had. We are a group of 14 with different diving levels. The 5 days with Palau Dive Adventure is disappointing. This diving company is tricky and unorganized. PDA promotes small dive groups, claiming a ratio of 1 dive guide to 4 divers, which was a significant factor in our decision to book with them. However, upon arrival, we were divided into larger groups (9+5). It is rediculous that 9 divers in different skill levels dive together in a big group. Despite our requests to split into smaller groups, these were not accommodated. During our dives, it became apparent that the company prioritized safety over the experience by avoiding currents at well-known dive sites... BLUE corner, Ulong Channel and Peleliu... while other boats were able to enjoyed most of all. On the 4th day, Jason, the captain, arranged our 1st dive in Turtle Cove which is included in the Koror dive schedule, did not justify the additional cost of USD 82.50. The worse was we did the 2nd dive in Peleliu cut. When the DM detected currents ahead, they made a U-turn. Why they did a u-turn when people usually hook there waiting for big creatures. This decision seemed to stem from an inability to manage a larger group safely in current conditions, resulting in a disappointing experience for which we paid USD 142.50. The 5th day, lowest tide at 13:30. We drifted in Ulong Channel inside out and ended the last dive in 20mins. It's 20mins only.... We came out of water at 13:30 with over 120 bars.... In contrast, other boats waited until 2:30pm for the tides going in, they hook on reef and drifted in, dive time 60mins. Why is it so different??? The DM from all boats know the best dive time for different site, the only difference is the Captain's arrangement and how they treated their guest. Treat or trick is obviously we experienced in Palau with this dive shop. The Crew is good but not the Team Captain "Jason Maluchluw" , he refused all our requests. And with him on the boat, the crew could do nothing. Given our experience, I would recommend that groups larger than four divers consider alternative dive shops that may offer better organization and a more tailored diving experience.Don't even look anywhere else, if you want to dive in Palau you should choose PDA with no hesitation From the first contact with Grace everything was more than smooth and the dives were all incredible Big shoutout to Chris and Javin being amazing guides always focused on safety and making sure we always were diving with minimal crowds. Also Allen the best captain!! They really treat you like family and groups never exceed 4-6 people which makes the dive very enjoyable from all point of views! Keep up the amazing work! We did all sorts of diving, wreck, caves, tunnels, holes, walls, channels & saw all sorts of marine life from Manta Rays to Sharks to Corals & Nudibranches. The thing that really stood out was the great boat & amazing crew who thought of everything & we didn’t have to lift a finger. The lunches were delicious bento boxes, also a highlight, as was the land crew that even drove us out to dinner & took us home again after! Amazing service!! We were visited by three of the most graceful manta rays I have ever seen. Watching them effortlessly soar through the water was a moment of pure wonder. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, we dropped in at Blue Corner. The sheer density of marine life is mind-blowing – reef sharks patrolling the drop-off, massive schools of fish swirling around us, and vibrant corals everywhere. We usually much prefer this set-up because the dives can be tailored to everyone's preferences and abilities. At the office, Grace took our booking and patiently answered a million questions from me. She always responded in a timely manner and with all the information I needed. After reading all the amazing Google reviews, I'd like to add to it by saying this is one of the BEST dive shops we've ever dived with. Their dive masters are all highly skilled and really make you feel safe under water. My partner has claustrophobia and I don't quite like currents. And as you'd know, Palau diving is mostly currents. But with PDA, their DMs took such good care of us, we didn't even get scared or need to worry. We were mostly a group between 6 - 8 people over 4 days and there were always a minimum of 2 DMs with us. Their briefings are very thorough and clear and their equipment are all in very good condition. The boat was very clean, big and comfortable, plus you get FREE nitrox upgrades if you're nitrox certified. They took us to the best dive sites - German Channel, Blue Corner, Peleliu Cut, Ulong Channnel and we saw Mantas and Sharks and Turtles on a daily basis. On my 8th dive, I experienced a reverse block in my ear. Our DMs Chris and Adam addressed this immediately getting me to descend, stay a while and see if it got better. And when it didn't, Adam took my buddy and I up slowly and monitored me the whole time. Their team then took me to the hospital and picked me up and dropped me back at the hotel. They truly looked after me and made sure I was OK. They also have a concierge dive gear service where you leave all your gear with them at the end of the day and they bring it all for you the next day cleaned and dried. We also had very yummy bento lunches and they gave us a water bottle as a gift at the end. Every day, they'd have a fresh towel and cold water in our bottle ready for us. Would highly recommend!PDA offered a value for money package. Most of the dive centres only offer 2 dives per day + 3rd dive at additional cost. PDA package includes 3 dives a day. The booking with Grace was easy and she is helpful and responsive. Jan was very punctual during pick up and drop off, and always offering help with our luggage. He will pick up our dive gear on first day and send back cleaned and dried gears on the last day. On dive days, the DMs will set up our gears and change tank during each dive. The boat is spacious and each diver has our own seat/ space. Very comfortable arrangement. End of each day, they will wash all our gears and bring it back to the boat for next day. Nothing is lost (expect for sunglasses). The lunch is to look forward to, they are super delicious. We dived most of the sites, unfortunately Peleliu was not accessible due to unpredictable weather. It has been super rainy (despite it is dry season). For safety reasons, we didn’t manage to do it. However, we were refunded the permit. We stayed at Palau hotel, it was very accessible to many nice restaurants, cafes, bakery, supermarket. All within walkable distance. Their rates is cheaper if book through dive centre. Over the course of 21 dives I had the opportunity to interact with nearly all of the PDA team. I won't call out any of them by name to avoid accidentally omitting anyone, but suffice it to say they were all wonderful. The booking process and airport transfers were smooth as were the daily transfers from the Palau Central hotel. All we had to do is roll off the boat & into the water. At the end of the dives there was always someone to help me with my tanks since I am a little gal. Each & every dive site was beyond amazing! We hunkered down on the ocean floor while giant manta rays flew over our heads. Saw the most gorgeous coral gardens...colors I have never seen before. There were lots of sharks & turtles & fun fishies. My daughter is a huge nudebranch fan & the dive guides helped to locate those elusive little guys for her. We were introduced to hooking in & had a blast "flying" in the current & watching schools of fish swim by. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, featuring a balcony, mini-fridge, and a well-stocked bathroom with toiletries. One minor drawback was the cost of lunch, dinner, and cocktails outside of breakfast. While Palau is generally on the expensive side, seven dollars for a canned Coke seemed excessive. Chris, our divemaster, was worth his weight in gold. Safety was paramount during every dive, with detailed briefings and clear hand signal reviews. Chris expertly navigated the dive sites, ensuring we encountered ideal conditions and minimal crowds. While avoiding other divers entirely is rare at popular sites, there were many instances where we had the entire dive site to ourselves. Within minutes of my first dive, I was greeted by the awe-inspiring sight of a shark and a majestic manta ray! A Word to New Divers For inexperienced divers, consider gaining some experience (ideally 50 dives in various conditions) before tackling Palau.Additionally, having your advanced open water certification and enriched air nitrox qualification is recommended. The strong currents and some deeper dives can be challenging for those unfamiliar. Minor Website Update Needed The only minor criticism I have is that the dive schedule on the website might not reflect your actual itinerary. We ended up doing 15 dives over five days, exceeding the website's advertised schedule. While I certainly don't mind more diving, a website update would ensure clearer expectations. One other tip - bring your own dive torch, even if they say it's not necessary. We found ourselves wishing we had them on a couple of occasions, although the boat did have spares available. A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience Our Palau Dive Adventures trip was truly unforgettable. They exceeded all our expectations and made us feel like the most important guests in Palau. While we have other dive destinations on our bucket list, Palau Dive Adventures will definitely be our choice when we return. We highly recommend them for an exceptional dive experience!Our family of 4 had a very good experience diving with PDA. It all started with the very prompt and responsive reservations support provided by Grace. The dive instructor, Christian and dive guides, Marcus and Jay are very experienced and took excellent care of us even though we had varying levels of diving experience. They always made sure that we were thoroughly briefed before each dive which was very important. We liked it that our boat was not packed with divers, unlike the other operations we saw. They are very accomodating for different experince levels. Snacks, lunch, water, coffe, rain jackets and towels are provided every day. Dive guides and boat drivers are second to none and they provide very personalized service. I thoroughly enjoyed diving with PDA and would recommend the outfit with no reservations.Great dive outfit. Excellent staff made the whole experience 5*, they really make an effort to get to know their customers. Palau dives can be challenging and as a fellow Instructor I was impressed by the standards of safety and observation displayed by the whole team. Palau Dive Adventures takes such attentive care of everything from start to finish – it was truly a liveaboard experience on land. To highlight, my favorite part was the valet dive gear service where the crew takes care of your gear every afternoon and returns it to the boat (already set up, of course) each morning. From start to finish- Grace was extremely responsive while booking this trip- my first dive travel / dive trip ever. I reached out to several different companies, not really knowing what to expect or what to ask, and felt immediately drawn to PDA because of Grace’s responsiveness and care. After arriving in Palau, Jan was there to pick me up from the airport, and he was there each morning at 0730 at my hotel (which was also wonderful) – Palau Hotel. We dove three times a day at the most incredible spots. The crew had an interesting mix of divers – experienced divers with 100+ dives, two divers over 70 years old, overly chatty happy divers, more introverted divers, and me with only 20 dives. The crew did an amazing job balancing all of this and still providing all of the best dive locations in the best dive conditions possible. The crew took great care of my dive gear each afternoon, and helped me plan activities during my off-time. One of the co-owners, Jason, owns a car rental business as well and I was able to rent a car from him. Of course- that was seamless as well. The car was dropped off to and picked up from me on my “land day” before flying. There was fresh fruit and hot beverages provided after the first dive, a phenomenal lunch from King Palace after the second dive (the best option is #11 – DUMPLINGS!!!!), and more hot beverages and a fresh-water rinse provided after the last dive. Ice-cold water was provided daily, along with jackets and fresh towels. The crew also made special stops at the Milky Way, Peleliu, and Jellyfish Lake for us. We even celebrated a diver’s 100th dive, the traditional way! Truly, this was an experience of a lifetime and I am so grateful to Palau Dive Adventures. I can’t thank the crew- Grace, Jan, Allen, Chris, Miyles (Reeellaaaaxxx), Jason, and Jayven- enough. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU ! What we saw: whitetip reef sharks, grey reef sharks, turtles, manta rays, octopus, crocodile fish, frog fish, marble ray, dolphins, eagle ray, jellyfish, nudis, flatworms, and so so much more ! He was my personal concierge for the week and made sure that I had restaurant recommendations for my personal tastes, helped me to find activities to do during my downtime from diving, and made sure my dive gear was well taken care of. Each day that I arrived to dive my gear was set up and one of the staff was available to help me get it on and make sure I didn't strain myself when getting up. Having a small group of divers ensures you are always first out of the harbour and on your way to the dive sites, and having a fine skipper and dedicated dive masters makes the whole experience simply wonderful. I had six days, three dives daily with PDA, and each dive was unique, perfectly organised, and wonderfully enjoyable. I will be returning for sure, as soon as I can.My boyfriend and I got to try out both Sam's and PDA for diving. PDA was better by a long shot. While Sam's divemasters were great, their admin wasn't the best to communicate with and the food was terrible. PDA had amazing dive masters (especially Chris), the best bentos, and they really cared about customer requests and did their best to accommodate.I had done 8 days of diving with Palau Dive Adventures. These guys run a fantastic system, from the booking to my departure from Palau. Several times during my trip, the crew would regularly check in to see if everything is well. The lunch bento (with 14 selections) is fantastic and the boat is very comfortable with a dedicated space made for each diver (boats from other companies just too cramped). When not diving, PDA also offers to shuttle me around the different places for dinner. These guys really made sure that you have a good time in Palau. To the best part: Diving! I dove with Christian (SI) and Myles (DM) from PDA along with other guests. While the weather was wrecking havoc on certain days, they were flexible to bring us to other dive sites which they deem best in the current situation. They also made sure that everyone was comfortable on the boat. When the weather finally settled down, we went to dive Blue Corner and wow, it was just spectacular! Sharks, barracudas, jacks, huge wrasses when we were hooked in to the current. Besides the big stuff, there were also wrecks and caves (recreational) to dive. Corals and walls there were beautiful too. Overall, I had a great time! Will definitely look to this company when I go back to Palau to dive again! See you guys again! 🙂We had a fantastic adventure through the Rock Islands. The crew was great fun.WOW - where do I even start? This trip was a girls trip that was planned 6 months in advanced. From the planning phase, Grace from PDA was extremely courteous, patient, timely in answering all questions and handling all reservations to include lodging and transportation. She kept in touch as the vacation got closer and sent us reminder emails. When arriving, everything was absolutely flawless and taken care of. Jamie was our concierge and driver - he was so friendly and welcoming. We stayed at the cove resort and they came to pick us up in the dive boat at the marina right behind our hotel making it super convenient. Jamie gave me a scuba duffel the first night to put all my stuff in and after that first day, I never had to lay a finger on my gear for the rest of the trip. My gear was cleaned and dried each night and set up for me on the boat each day. My friend rented all her gear and the rental gear was great quality and she had no issues. The first day they had multiple options around her size and she was able to pick the best fit for her. The boat crew and our guide/dive master was FANTASTIC!! Chris was our dive guide and he did an amazing job catering to the needs of each diver (3 of us total) and ensuring we had the best possible experience. He made sure he briefed us before each dive answering all our questions and laying out expectations of the dive so we knew exactly what we were getting into. Obviously Palau is going to have a lot of tourists and other divers and he did his best to ensure we still had a enjoyable experience while catering around other divers. Before one particular dive where we were going to have to hook in, there was another company of divers with tourists that got in the water before us. He included in his dive brief to us to make sure we do not hook in the reef in front of that group to not block their view and ruin their experience. The fact that he was considerate of other companies and their experience is a testament to the morals, professionalism and respect for the community/diving that Chris and PDA have. Jayven, Myles, Arson were the other boat crew and each of them were always professional, respectful and extremely patient/helpful in between each dive grabbing our gear for us and setting stuff up. The snacks and lunch on each day were delicious. They had plenty of towels, rain jackets, hot tea/coffee for us in case we were cold. More importantly the crew was SO FUNNY! I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much underwater while diving than on this trip with this crew. Overall PDA was an incredible company and I will definitely be returning to Palau and booking with them again. The same crew welcomed us to island and got us diving right away. Once our gear was set up the first day they made sure we never lifted a finger the rest of the trip. The dive groups were small and intimate, so the dive masters learned our dive styles, listened to our interests, and catered the dive experience to us. We encountered giant manta rays, sharks, turtles, extraordinary schools of fish, and healthy vibrant corals. Our adventures included manta ray/shark cleaning stations, drift dives, reef hook theaters (not just the Blue Corner), blue hole drop ins to caves, and wrecks!We did a 5 day 14 dive package with PDA in March '23. Could not recommend the outfit more. Like all good dive shops they are very well organized, are experts in the local dive sites, and have modern and well-maintained boats and equipment. Where these guys differentiate themselves is in the people - not only was there a solid dynamic with the dive folks in the boat, but they went the extra mile to ensure that our whole trip was great start to finish. A solid organization top to bottom. I’m so sorry it took me so long to get to Palau to dive but I was insanely happy that I spent my vacation with PDA! Hope to see PDA family again very soon 🇵🇼!My girlfriend Jean and I just returned from a 2 week vacation in Palau. We had heard about Palau Dive Adventures in 2019 and booked a trip. After the world reopened we finally got our chance. We flew to Palau and were met at the airport by Jaime from Palau Dive Adventures (PDA). We were dropped off at our hotel and spent the next day recovering from the long flight. I inquired about a rental car and Jaime appeared minutes later with a perfect vehicle at a very good rate which we kept for just over a week and it was picked up, by Jaime, at our hotel when we no longer needed it. The next day started our 5 days of diving. I have been diving since 1984 and a dive instructor for just over 30 years. In all that time I have never experienced a team like the staff at PDA. From the office staff to the "Backbone boys" (who fill the tanks, clean and sanitize the gear every night) to the boat crew they work as a well oiled machine taking care of anything and everything. I realized my fin straps were about to let go and Jaime had new ones for me the next morning when the boat arrived to pick us up. Little things like that are the norm with PDA. The boat picked us up at our hotel every morning and dropped us off in the afternoon. Arson, the skipper, and divemasters Chris, Miles and Allen were everywhere they needed to be both above and below the surface. Several dive sites had strong currents and we had to "hook in". Reef hooks were supplied and their use was clearly explained and demonstrated beforehand. Every dive was fabulous, from the 12 foot manta rayon dive #1 to the wall dives with numerous sharks and turtles, to the Blue Holes to the cave dive on the last day. If it was overcast or raining blankets and rain wear were provided on the boat as well as towels. Hot coffee or tea were available between dives as well as juice and water. If you needed any assistance at any time on the boat or underwater it just magically appeared at exactly the right moment! I can't begin to thank them enough for making this the best dive trip I have ever had. The level of teamwork, organization, attentiveness and the warmth and caring of the entire staff set the bar for excellence very high.
