Great team... great experience... great fun!!!! We recently undertook 15 dives in Palau with PDA and honestly we could not be more positive about our experience. From the initial engagement and booking process through to hotel collections and most importantly the boat and dives. The team were all over it. Focusing on the boat and dive action, Marco (DM) was knowledgeable, fun and just a really good guy to chat with. He was receptive to our requests (big stuff please!) yet applied his local knowledge of conditions and currents to ensure that we got the best experience we could each day and each dive. Hot tea first SLI, lunch second (which was actually good and came via a local restaurant to PDA) and a swift return to town. Ultimately, I feel we made a great decision to dive with PDA and the individual service that they provide - they listen and are receptive allowing us to have input into dive site selection. Great team... great people... great diving memories!!!
On reviendra !
Amazing 2 days with Palau Dive Adventures — even with tricky weather! We booked 2 days of diving with PDA (Iro Maru wreck and Ulong island on day 1, then Ngerchong Wall, Ngerchong North coral garden, and Chandelier Cave on day 2), and honestly, this was one of the best diving experiences of our lives — despite some pretty mixed weather conditions during our stay. We were the only divers on the boat both days, just the two of us with the dive master and captain — a completely private experience that made a huge difference. It felt less like a tour and more like being taken out by friends who happen to know every inch of these reefs. What really stood out was how the team handled the conditions: they thoughtfully adjusted our site selection based on sea conditions to avoid rough surface chop and swell, making sure we weren't getting tossed around or feeling seasick between dives. That kind of judgment call — prioritizing our comfort and safety over just sticking to a fixed plan — says a lot about their experience and professionalism. The water itself was gorgeous and warm — a comfortable 28°C, warm enough that we dove in just swimsuits, no wetsuit needed. Iro Maru was a fascinating start, full of history. For Ulong Channel, the current wasn't ideal that day, so our dive master smartly adjusted and took us diving around Ulong Island instead, right at the entrance of the channel — and it paid off, with sharks and rays gliding by. That flexibility to read the conditions and change the plan on the spot, rather than forcing a dive that wouldn't have been as good, really impressed us. Day 2's Ngerchong Wall and coral garden were a beautiful contrast, calmer and just as rich in marine life. But the real highlight was how they ended our trip at Chandelier Cave. On the way back out, our guide had us turn off all our dive lights and swim out using only the ambient light filtering in from the surface — it was absolutely magical, one of those quiet, otherworldly moments you don't forget. A small touch, but it showed real care and creativity from the guide. The boat was comfortable, gear was cleaned and dried for us after every dive, and with just the two of us on board, we got constant personal attention throughout. If you're hesitating because of forecasted weather, don't be — this team knows how to read Palau's waters and will genuinely take care of you. Can't recommend them enough. We'll be back!
Palau Dive Adventures ROCKS!! We had an AWESOME time with PDA! They were incredibly helpful and spoiled us rotten. The dive guides Chris and William were outstanding. We often got to the best dive spots before the crowds arrived. I strongly recommend!!
A fantastic dive shop Palau Dive Adventures is a fantastic operation. Their equipment is good, their logistics seamless and the service is first-rate. Chris, William, Van and Jay made our week as enjoyable as could be!
PDA is just the next level Oh Wow. PDA delivered on every promise and we will come back over the next few years and do it all over again Where do I start? The promised pick up from the airport. Tick. We stayed at Palau Pacific Resort which is not cheap but it’s the best location. The boat picked us up day one directly from the resort for our first of five straight days of diving. Chris was our lead guide in the diving. Simply awesome guide. Did everything to make us safe in an environment that can serve up zero current to full on and can change mid dive. And kudos to his diving support guides that were so attentive. Our five days were just the best experience. PDA washes and drys your gear overnight so you just get back on the boat and everything is there for you. The hardest decision was which bento box to choose for lunch the next day. They provide water bottles and towels each day which you leave on the boat. Not to mention I had my 60th birthday on the dive boat and they gave me a birthday cake! So if that was just the end that would be enough for five stars in itself. But we stayed for 16 nights which is rare. Jan picked us up night one and continually helped us throughout the holiday including multiple trips downtown to the supermarket and to dinner locations. He was so awesome. We had an amazing time and PDA we will be back. You are all awesome.
We will come back Great people, amazing dive, and the food was INCREIBLE!!! super recommended
Highly recommended We booked a dive and accommodation package. Fantastic service from the office/ land crew Jan and Mary-Grace, everything was very well organised for a smooth and relaxing experience. The boat crew was outstanding, our dive master Chris had a wealth of knowledge, managed to tailor each dive day for an optimal experience for participants. Mark and Jade also made every dive day very enjoyable for us.
Unforgetable, fantastic dive experience Had 5 unforgetable days and 12 dives at Palau with Palau Dive Adventures. They delivered on everything. Great service, super nice and skillful guides that took us to the most fantastic dive sites, excellent equipment, and nice boats. The best dives I have had in my almost 50 years as a cerified diver. I give them my highest recommendations!!
A TRUE Vacation! Gear concierge and personalized, attentive service you don't get elsewhere! Had a great experience with Palau Dive Adventures- best customer service on the island! They picked me up from the airport and left me with a mesh gear bag, which I put my gear in and they picked up the next day. It all showed up on the boat ready to go! Between each dive they switched our tanks out for us. At the end of the day, they broke down the gear and cleaned it meticulously, stored it/dried it for the next day, and set it up again! They delivered the gear as clean and dry as they could get it on the day of departure. What more could you ask for? Jan and Gem were so helpful on land, and every divemaster/instructor/captain: Christian, William, Jade, Jay, Alan, were all excellent. They took such great care of you underwater, you never felt like you were neglected. They were so kind to the elderly folks on the boat as well, taking special care and helping them in the strong current to hook in, etc. They knew how to avoid the crowds of boats so it always felt like we were the only divers in the water. 100% would go with them again!Showing our latest reviews
